Safe Windscreen Replacement – in all weathers

Many windscreen replacement providers are cutting back their networks of depots and instead offering a call-out service using mobile units. This is welcomed by customers, who appreciate the convenience of not having to go out of their way to get their windscreen replaced. Indeed, Mr Windscreen provides this mobile service across the country.

However, there are limitations to this service, especially in the testing weather conditions we regularly experience in Ireland. In the course of replacing a windscreen, the area around the screen must be kept free of moisture, something which cannot always be guaranteed in the case of mobile units in wet and windy conditions.

It is for this reason that Mr Windscreen is committed to maintaining its network of depots, which is the largest in the country. This ensures we can stand over our promise to provide safe windscreen replacement ‘in all weathers’.

  1. Where I live in the west of Ireland, I am always only a few hours away from rain and wind for most of the year and believe me the rain can be very severe. Having had a few windscreens replaced during the last 30 years I am aware of the need for technicians to be able to work in a wind and rain free setting so I for one really appraciate when my insurer appoints me to a replacement company that still has a fitting depot.
